SO THANKFUL CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS PARTY IS OVER!!! BOY WE WERE EXHAUSTED, OVERWHELMED AND STRESSED OUT… FEELS GOOD TO HAVE MY NOT SO BUSY LIFE BACK! NEWEEZ…
NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY WAS A BLAST! HAD FRIENDS FROM OREGON AND NEIGHBORS OVER WELCOMING THE NEW YEAR. THOUGH FEW FRIENDS DID NOT MAKE IT—SUCH AS MARCY; APRIL, SANDRA AND GRETCHEN AND HER FAMILY DUE TO BRANDON’S HEALTH PROBLEM…AM GLAD BRANDON IS IN A GREAT HEALTH AGAIN.
I HAVE BEEN CHATTING ON LINE WITH MY MANA NENE ON THE 31 DEC. AFTERNOON. BILLY BOUGHT AN EXTENSION CORD FOR THE WEBCAMERA. SO THEY WERE ABLE TO WATCH US THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE MUNCHING THE FOOD AND THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY BILLY PUT UP.
WHILE WAITING FOR THE MIDNIGHT—MANA NENE MY OLDER SISTER, SHE IS A SINGLE MOM WITH AN 18 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER- ASKED ME IF I HAVE AN AVAILABLE GUY FOR HER. SHE’S BEEN BUGGING ME TO GET HER A KANO FOR AWHILE ..TOLD HER YES I DO HAVE BUT HE IS ONLY 14 YEARS OLD. WE BOTH HAD A BIG LAUGH! I WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO TELL MY FRIENDS/GUEST WHAT I JUST TOLD TO MY SISTER.THEY THOUGTH IT WAS HILARIOUS. THEN ONE OF BILLY’S GUEST HIS NAME IS MIKE—58 YEARS OLD, WORKS IN POST OFFICE. ASKED ME HOW OLD IS MY SISTER- TOLD HIM HER AGE, AND HE SAID HE IS SINGLE AND AVAILABLE AND WOULDLOVE TO SEE MY SISTER! I GRAB HIS HAND AND GUIDE HIM UPSTAIRS TO SHOW HIM WHAT MY SISTER LOOKS LIKE ON THE WEB CAMERA. HE LIKES HER AND THEY CHATTED FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS. MIKE WAS CHATTING WITH MY SISTER WHILE WE WERE ENJOYING THE FIREWORKS…
MIKE MADE IT TO OUR NEW YEARS TOAST IN OUR GARAGE. BILLY’S NEW YEAR RESOLUTION IS TO QUIT SMOKING THIS YEAR. INSHALLAH! HE IS WORKING ON IT… AM SO THANKFUL NO ONE GOT HURT WHILE WE HAD THE FIREWORKS… AND KIDS WERE SO CAREFUL HANDLING THE SPARKLERS.
MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION??? NOPE I DON’T DO NEW YEAR RESOLUTION. I HAVE THIS RITUAL THINGY, BEEN DOING IT- I GUESS FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS NOW— I WROTE A WISH LIST FOR MY NEW YEAR WISH—10 OR 12 OF THEM. I KEEP/TUCKED THEM AWAY FOR THE WHOLE YEAR. THEN OPEN AND READ THEM ON THE NEW YEARS EVE TO CHECK THE WISH THAT COME TRUE. I DID ALWAYS END MY WISH LIST—ASKING FOR A BLESSING THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD –AMEN!
I AM NOT THAT RELIGIOUS. BUT I DO ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND SO THANKFUL FOR THE GREAT LIFE AND FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS; AND GUIDANCE HE HAS SHOWERED IN OUR DAILY LIVES. HE’S BEEN MY INSPIRATION AND MY STRENGTH THROUGH THE YEARS…

Welcome back J…ang bz mo talaga girl! Buti naman at medyo di na masikip sked mo ngayon at may time ka na to update us =) Nice to know u had a great New Yrs party. Dami mo palang bisita and ang galing meron pang fireworks! Nakakatuwa yan, namiss ko na tuloy yung sa Pinas! Buti nlang at meron na akong mga friends here that I can have a party with them for the NY eve kse nung 1st time ko, natulog lang kami =( Anyways, u’ve mentioned abt a friend who’s looking 4 a kano? Actually ang gami kong kakilala din naghahanap but the prob is, di madaling magmatchmaker kse mga tao d2 di mo lang bsta2 mahila rin para makigpagkilala sa Pinay who is thousan miles away,lol! Reality is, dpat cla kumilos at maghanap sa internet gaya ng kapalaran ko,hehehe! well…hapit lang ko nganhi & hope u have a great weekend!!!

i can just image the fun that u all had on new yr’s eve. glad to see another post of urs. been missing it lately. anyway, i’m kinda curious abt ur sis and that guy, hehe! intrigera ano? lol! that would be great for u pag nagkatuluyan sila coz she’ll live close to u, dba?
tama na nga yang pang iintriga ko, hehe! i think u r a very nice person. i like what u do instead of having a new yr’s resolution. i don’t have any either coz i always end up not doing them. good luck to ur hubby. i know it’s hard to quit smoking. i know quite a few who told me abt it. cge have a great day and great weekend as well. kisses to Bianca!

Hi Jenny and Rissa–
Thanks for the company and thoughts. There is no Christmas and New Years Celebration like our beloved PILIPINAS!! I am so thankful for y friends who came over for the party and share the fun.
Jenny: I do have single friends of mine bugging me being a match maker for them told them I dont work at the club how I am going to get a nice guy or convince them to write my Filipina friends.. I saw homeless people here…he!he!he! I did advised them do the Dating/pen friends services online and paper. SInce people knows that I found one for my sister—they come to my sister house asking me to get one for them too. My sister was into pen pal long time ago— as I remember. I got Billy’s name through my sister–she picked Billy name for me, all i got was his name and his address. I wrote Billy without seeing his picture what he looks like.
Rissa: mag chat sila almost araw-araw na. Ngayo naman gani ug address of my sister si Mike kay magpadala na siya daw ug package–taga-an nako sa address. Seryoso na baya si Mike. Ang akong Ate kay atakar na pod ang kahadlok—kita sa itsura niya basta mag serious na si MIke about the two of them–chosen by GOD to be together (words of MIke yan) Mike is an active chuch member sa simbahan namo. He is also a choir. I just found this thing lately…starting to know about my soon brother in-law. hak!haK!haK! SO far I like MIke…its that I am worried about my sister—- Rissa I dont mind you asking about my sister and Mike..am much wiling to update you guys ha!ha!ha! Thank you and you alltake care.
